Here are some things I have been working on for Easter. I made Easter themed chocolate suckers, sewed Beatrice an Easter dress (cuter photos of her in her dress to come on beabella.blogspot.com) and coloring eggs. I have to say that brown eggs are so much more beautiful when colored and I used the old school method with the vinegar and dye pellets. The more pastel ones are white eggs and the lovely earthy colored ones are the brown eggs. I'm definitely not going to buy white eggs for coloring again.
Amelia, love the chocolates! YUM! Definitely professional! And thanks for the brown egg tip. I'll be sure to remember that. :) Oh, and nice sewing skills!
You can buy chocolate already in tubes for the detailing and then pour the kind of chocolate on top of whatever you color. It's definitely not healthy, but it sure is fun to make!

cute dress, I'm very impressed, and the suckers look much more professional than ours

Very cute suckers! I'm impressed... Did you paint the chocolate into the molds and then add more layers on top?
